How does it work?
The Horizon Leisure Card is a partnership between Horizon Leisure Centres and Havant Borough Council that applies a discount to activities on-site for those that are in receipt of certain benefits and live in the borough of Havant. The card is free of charge!
Both Havant and Waterlooville Horizon Leisure Centres can offer the discounts if you are eligible.
If you’re eligible, you will receive 40% OFF:
Main sports hall for team or family bookings
Crèche facilities whilst you stay healthy
Squash court bookings
Casual gym sessions (not memberships)
Oceans Of Play
You will be eligible if you receive the following:
Employment Support Allowance
Job Seekers Allowance
Council Tax Benefit
If you receive:
Working tax credit and child tax credit and NHS tax credit exemption certificate, you must provide an award notice from HM Revenue & Customs dated within last 12 months and in-date NHS Tax Credit Exemption Certificate.
If you are a full-time student aged 18 or over you must provide a letter from your college or university confirming full-time attendance. Student ID / NUS cards will not be accepted as proof.
How do I enrol on the scheme?
Fill out the application online or download and complete a paper copy and pop into reception at your nearest leisure centre, with any of the above documentation. You will be given a Horizon Leisure Card. Every time you come to site, bring your card and you will get the discount applied.
