Specialist Sessions and Concessionary Prices
We offer specialised sessions and discounted prices for various activities to make them more accessible. We aim to ensure that everyone feels welcome and can participate in the activities they love.
Your comfort is our priority. You can inform us in advance about your visit, and we will make arrangements such as setting up pool hoists to ensure a stress-free experience. Alternatively, if you decide to visit spontaneously, you can give us a call, and we’ll be more than happy to assist you on short notice.
Accessible Facilities
Horizon Waterlooville boasts an easily accessible layout with the pool and café located on one floor. We provide ramps for smooth entry into the building and a significant number of disabled parking spaces for your convenience. Additionally, our gym spans three floors and is equipped with a lift, ensuring access to all areas.
Horizon Havant is thoughtfully designed across three levels with a connecting lift, making all facilities accessible. The lower level houses the play centre, sports hall, and gym, while the second level features the swimming pool and pop-up café.
Swimming Pools: Ensuring Comfort and Safety
We take pride in offering a private changing place at Horizon Havant, specially designed for individuals with disabilities and additional needs. This facility includes electric hoists, beds, and a dedicated toilet, shower, and hand basin. The pool area also features a pool hoist (currently out of order), allowing easy and safe access to the water.
While Horizon Waterlooville does not have a dedicated changing place, we provide a family changing room and a pool hoist to ensure comfortable access to the pool for all visitors.
Swimming Lessons: Personalised and Supportive
Our qualified swimming instructors offer one-to-one or two-to-one 20-minute lessons, ensuring personalised attention and support. We tailor the lessons to your child’s abilities and needs, providing a safe and enjoyable learning experience. Booking in advance is recommended to secure your spot.
Gyms
Gym instructors are available to advise customers with their workouts and assist in the use of the machines. During an induction the gym instructors can show the equipment that is most suitable and meets the customer’s needs. Both gyms are wheelchair accessible.
Sports Halls
The sports halls are on the ground floor at Havant Leisure Centre allowing easy access and amenities’ including toilets on the same level.
Play Centre
Horizon Oceans of Play at Havant is a soft play facility with easy access from the reception.

Our gyms are entirely wheelchair accessible, and our experienced gym instructors are always available to guide and assist you during workouts. In a personalised induction, our instructors will show you the most suitable equipment that meets your specific needs.
Easy Access to Sports Halls and Play Centre
At Horizon Havant, our sports halls are conveniently located on the ground floor, offering easy access and adjacent amenities, including toilets on the same level. Additionally, our delightful soft play facility, Horizon Oceans of Play, is easily accessible from the reception area.
Additional Needs Activities at Horizon
At Horizon, we are proud to partner with the Get Up and Go, a Havant borough initiative funded by Hampshire County Council. This project aims to inspire everyone to move more, especially those who may not be as active due to health conditions or financial challenges. Through this collaboration, we prioritise access to activities for residents of the borough who need it most, ensuring that they can fully participate in and benefit from the program.
