THRIVE
THRIVE is Horizon’s exclusive initiative aimed at children and young people. It comprises of family friendly clubs and classes such as Non-Contact Boxing, Pickleball and Family Racquets Sport. This is all with the goal to empower young minds in our community.
Get Up and Go Free 6 Week Boxing Course
Horizon are partnering with Get up and Go to offer a free 6 week family boxing course starting on the 11th November. Get up and Go is a Havant Borough project funded by Hampshire County Council with an aim to encourage everyone to move more.
Family Float
On a rainy Autumn day, there’s no better way to keep the kids entertained than to bring them to a Horizon Family Float session. During October half term, Horizon run Family Float at Havant and Waterlooville. These are usually an hour long sold out swimming sessions that include music, various floats and lots of fun in the pool.
Active8 Minds
Active8 Minds operates across Hampshire and West Sussex, specialising in sports and childcare for children aged 3-16. They partner with schools and local venues to provide fun, engaging before and after school clubs, as well as exciting holiday programmes, such as the holiday club that runs every half term at Horizon.
Havant Hornets Badminton Academy
Badminton is a great way for children to enhance their hand eye coordination, agility, and focus, while also boosting physical fitness and fostering teamwork and friendly competition. Havant Hornets is a local Badminton club for juniors who run their Academy at Havant Leisure Centre for those aged 6-16, welcoming players of all abilities.
