Junior Gym at Horizon

Our Junior Gym sessions are a great way for young people to stay active, build confidence, and get comfortable in a gym environment.
Designed specifically for younger users, sessions focus on helping juniors learn how to use equipment safely while developing healthy habits in a supportive space.
What to expect
Junior Gym gives young people the chance to:
- Build confidence in the gym
- Learn safe and effective use of equipment
- Stay active in a structured environment
- Be part of a positive and welcoming space
All juniors complete a gym induction before attending, so they feel confident from the start.

When can you attend?
Weekdays (Term Time)
- 10:00am – 2:00pm (parent required)
- 4:00pm – 6:00pm (no parent required)
Weekdays (Half Term)
- 10:00am – 3:00pm (parent required)
- 4:00pm – 6:00pm (no parent required)
Weekends
- 10:00am – 2:00pm
- 2:00pm – 4:00pm
A small update to Junior Gym
From 1st April, Junior Gym sessions will be available for: 11–15 year olds (PAYG and new members)
We know some younger members are already enjoying Junior Gym, so:
- Any 10-year-olds currently attending on a THRIVE membership can continue as normal
- This update will apply to PAYG and new members from 1st April

Why this update?
As sessions continue to grow, this helps us keep Junior Gym:
- Safe and appropriate for the age group
- Comfortable for everyone attending
- A positive experience for all users
