Opening and Quiet Times
We are here for you when you need us. Our doors are open from Monday to Friday, welcoming you from 6 am until 10:30 pm. On weekends, we embrace leisure with our extended hours from 7:30 am to 9:30 pm. We stay committed to your wellbeing even on bank holidays, inviting you from 10 am to 6 pm .

To experience tranquillity and avoid crowds, consider visiting during our quieter periods, typically, weekdays between 10 am and 3 pm and any time over the weekend. Please keep in mind that occasional events may bring increased foot traffic.
Your Journey Begins: Getting Here
As you embark on your Horizon Leisure Centre journey, the main entrance is accessed via a small ramp from the car park. Entering the building, you will be greeted via Reception, with accessible access where our warm staff will guide you through the centre, including a tour of our expansive Gym.
Are you travelling by car? Our free car park for centre users offers convenience and accessibility. You’ll also find dedicated disabled parking bays right at the front entrance. An ANPR system is in place, so be sure to utilise the tablet provided to enter your REG PLATE or ask a staff member to help you.
Lockers, Foyer, and First Aid
Keeping your belongings secure is essential for a worry-free workout. Our lockers utilize standard padlocks. Feel free to bring your own or acquire one from our Reception for £5.00.
Refreshments and relaxation await at our foyer, where you can meet with other members of the community and enjoy a delightful selection of hot beverages via our Pret Coffee Machine.
Safety comes first at Horizon. Our operations team is fully trained in first aid, including defibrillator use. A defibrillator is stationed behind Reception, while alarm points throughout the building allow prompt first aid response if required.
Support and Accessibility
Your support network is welcome at Horizon. Carers and friends can accompany you and are welcome to participate, too (fees apply for equipment use).
Your success matters to us. Our staff are dedicated to supporting you, from entrance assistance to 1-on-1 gym sessions. Please find us at the main Reception on your first visit, or reach out via phone, email, or in person whenever you need guidance.
We’re proud to be fully wheelchair-accessible. Accessible toilets, one level throughout the building, and adjustable gym equipment ensure we cater to your needs. Our poolside facilities, with hoist access, ensure all can use the facilities.
