Teen Sports & Gym Sessions
Horizon offer a range of sports as well as gym activities specifically aimed at teenagers to encourage a healthy and active lifestyle.
We’re also pleased to be able to offer Teen Gym Sessions, which are supervised sessions at our Havant and Waterlooville gyms for young adults aged between 10 and 15 years.

About Teen Sports & Gym Sessions at Horizon
The first teen gym session includes an induction; which a parent or guardian must be present for to fill in a medical form, sign a consent form and agree to the terms and conditions. The induction will show them how to use the cardio vascular machines safely and correctly (no strength training is permitted).
After the first teen gym session participants can return to use the fitness machines to burn calories and enjoy exercising in the gym by themselves during the teen sessions only. All teen sessions are fully supervised by a gym instructor.
Young adults aged between 14 and 15 years can join the gym as a Platinum Member or pay as you go customer and use the gym outside of the teen gym sessions but they must be accompanied by an adult at all times during their gym session and can only use cardio vascular machines.
Once they reach 16 years they will be able to have an upgraded induction to be shown how to use the weights and weight resistance machines, they will be able to use the gym at any time alone. Platinum Membership or pay as you go options will apply and they will no longer be able to attend the teen gym sessions.
