What’s Included?
The programme runs for six months and follows Horizon’s Swim England Learn to Swim framework, helping children develop confidence, technique and essential water safety skills.
Our qualified teachers support swimmers throughout their journey, helping them progress at a pace that works for them.
Families will also receive access to free public swimming and family float sessions, allowing children to practise outside of lessons and enjoy swimming together.
The programme has been created to support families who may otherwise be unable to access swimming lessons, helping more local children develop confidence, improve water safety awareness and enjoy the lifelong benefits of swimming.
About The Partnership
This programme is made possible through a partnership between Portsmouth Water, Horizon Leisure Trust and Havant Borough Council.
Together, we are committed to improving access to swimming, supporting local families and helping more children develop the confidence and skills they need to stay safe in and around water.
