Phase 3 of our reopening is nearly here
Dear Member,
We are very pleased to announce that as from Sunday 01 November we will be entering phase 3 of our reopening with some additional services opening up together with enhancements to existing swim and fitness class programmes.
Please do take time to read through as we want you to be aware that weekend gym session times will also be changing, together with a new class timetable and additional mid-week afternoon swim sessions.

NEW SERVICES
Badminton
Badminton will be returning to Havant Leisure Centre on 02 November with pre-booking available from this coming Monday 26th October via the app and online.
There will be 4 courts available for hire with bookable 45 minute slots (maximum of 4 players per court). You will need to bring your own racquet and shuttlecocks as none will be available for hire
Please note courts will need to be pre-booked and paid in advance
Leisure Card / Platinum Member Prices:
16 – 59 years – £8 (£8.40 non-members)
Seniors, students and those under 16 years* – £4 (£4.40 for non-members)
* Please note these are off peak prices are only available until 16.30pm. Last booking 4pm.
Members can email info@horizonlc.com for booking login details whilst non-members can call Havant on 023 92 476 026 so they can be registered and provided with booking ID and PIN
Teen Gym
We are delighted that weekend Teen Gym Sessions will be making a comeback from 1/11/20 at both Havant and Waterlooville.
Available for young persons between the ages of 10 – 15 years we have the following 1 hour sessions available
Havant
Saturdays – 1.45pm
Waterlooville
Sundays – 4.15pm
Costs – £1.70 Leisure Card price, Standard price £2.20

Toddler Groups
Parents of very young children will be delighted to hear that Pre-school bounce and Adventure play will be returning to Havant Leisure Centre week commencing 2/11/2020

Midweek afternoon swims
As per our announcement earlier this week we are delighted to announce that midweek afternoon swims are coming soon! These will be available Wed & Thurs at Waterlooville and Tues & Wed at Havant.
In our announcement earlier this week we announced these swim sessions would start week commencing Mon 02 November. We are going to endeavour to bring these dates forward so that they’re available from next week. Please keep a look out therefore for an announcement this coming Monday!
Upcoming timetable changes
Class timetable changes
We have listened to your feedback and will be making the following key changes to the classes on offer:-
- Increasing many of the class durations at both centres from 45 minutes to 1 hour
- Increasing the duration of most virtual cycle classes from 30 minutes to 45 minutes
- Adding 7 new instructor led RPM/cycle classes at Havant
- Freeing up the sports hall at Havant so popular sports like badminton can be brought back
This means at both centres there will be a new class timetable coming into play from Sunday 01 November 2020. The new timetable is available for viewing on the website now with pre-booking available from Sunday 25th October 2020.
Change of Gym Timetables
Our gym timetables will be changing on Saturdays and Sundays at Both Havant and Waterlooville Leisure Centres from 1/11/20.

Each activity is open to constant review as are the services we are yet to resume.
