Havant and Waterlooville have a range of activities that are fully inclusive and actively welcome people with additional needs to our leisure centres.
We also provide specialist sessions and concessionary prices across a range of activities.

We will do all we can to help you enjoy your visit.
You can always let us know you intend to come, and we can set up pool hoists etc. in advance, pay once you have settled in to avoid the stress of waiting, OR just give us a call last minute to say you didn’t make it.

Leisure Centre Facilities
Waterlooville Leisure Centre pool and café are on one floor making all areas easily accessible, there is a ramp leading up to the building with a large amount of disabled parking spaces. The gym is across three floors and has a lift to allow access to all floors.
Havant Leisure Centre is across 3 levels with a lift connecting all three levels, the key for the lift is available from reception. The play centre, sports hall and gym are all on the lower level, the swimming pool and pop up café are on the second level.
Swimming Pools
Havant has a private changing place that is open for use to all those with disabilities and / or additional needs, regardless of age. The wet room facility comes complete with electric hoists and beds and its own toilet, shower and hand basin. The surface from the changing room to the pool is flat, on the pool side there is a pool hoist allowing easy access into the pool.
Waterlooville does not have a disabled/additional needs changing place however there is a family changing room and it does have a pool hoist allowing easy access into the pool.
Swimming Lessons
One-to-one or two-to-one 20 min lessons with a qualified swimming instructor in the pool with the customer are available. Our swim school staff will discuss your child’s swimming ability and needs with you before deciding what will be the most suitable for them. Booking is required.
Gyms
Gym instructors are available to advise customers with their workouts and assist in the use of the machines. During an induction the gym instructors can show the equipment that is most suitable and meets the customer’s needs. Both gyms are wheelchair accessible.
Sports Halls
The sports halls are on the ground floor at Havant Leisure Centre allowing easy access and amenities’ including toilets on the same level.
Play Centre
Horizon Oceans of Play at Havant is a soft play facility with easy access from the reception.
