Lockdown 3 – Horizon Leisure Centres closed from Sunday 20th December 2020 until we are allowed to reopen

Following the recent announcement by the government that the Borough of Havant has entered Tier 4 restrictions, both Havant and Waterlooville Leisure Centres are now closed. We intend to reopen the centres as soon as we are allowed, subject to future government reviews.

Please note the following:

Monthly Memberships – Platinum, Swim School, Swim Card, Toning Table & U18s

Horizon will not take the January 2021 direct debit payment as previously planned and when we are allowed to reopen the centres, we will adjust the next direct debit amount to reflect the relevant closure period (under tier 4 restrictions) from 20th December. Please also note, your direct debit was not taken in December to compensate for the closure of our centres in November.

The government is planning to review tier 4 restrictions on Thursday 30th December and Horizon will give further updates regarding the status of the next direct debit payment. Please note, members will not be financially adversely effected by the closures experienced over recent months.


·Other types of Payments – Annual Platinum, Leisure Card, Swim Card, Sauna / Steam Pass, Swim School, Courses & Bookings

All the above pre-payments will be frozen from Sunday 20th December 2020 and any pre-paid periods, lessons or bookings will be rolled forward once the centres reopen.

Horizon on Demand

We will be providing our Horizon-on-Demand service to our members throughout this tier 4 closure period so that you can access over 650 online class workouts from the comfort of your own home.

Please email us at info@horizonlc.com for the new club access code which will initially provide you with 1 month’s free access to online workouts.

As a charity committed to safeguarding the health and wellbeing of the local community we serve, we hope you will continue to support us during this difficult period. We received some great feedback from our customers over the safety measures we undertook to keep you working out in a safe environment and we look forward to seeing you again when we reopen.
