Brass Monkey Cold Plunge
Our Brass Monkey Cold Plunge is a refreshing recovery experience for both body and mind. Cold water therapy is proven to boost circulation, reduce inflammation, and speed up muscle recovery, making it the perfect way to complement your training. Just a few minutes in the icy water can leave you feeling re-energised, clear-headed, and ready to take on the day.
The plunge is designed with comfort and safety in mind, featuring temperature control and advanced filtration for a clean, consistent experience. Open to all Horizon members with no booking required, it’s time to take the plunge.
Gym
Enjoy full access to our multi storey gym for the day, with a wide range of equipment for cardio, strength and functional training.
Not sure where to start or how something works? Our team and gym instructors are around to help, so you don’t need to arrive knowing your way around a gym.
Sauna & Steam
Your visit doesn’t have to be all about working out.
Head into our spa facilities and enjoy the sauna and steam room giving you space to relax and recharge as part of your day.
You could train, swim and unwind. Or skip the gym altogether and simply enjoy the facilities that suit you.
Swimming Pool
Slow things down with time in our 11m x 6m swimming pool.
When you arrive, simply collect a SENtag wristband from Reception before swimming. Our pool uses the SENtag drowning-detection system, which monitors swimmers in the water and alerts the team if assistance may be required.
Our heated main pool is designed to work for however you want to use it, whether you’re training, focusing on technique, or just taking time to switch off. It’s carefully maintained at a comfortable temperature throughout the day.
We also run Swim School for babies, toddlers and children up to and including Stage 4, with experienced teachers focused on building water confidence and developing technique from the very start.
Exercise Studio
Fancy trying something different? Your Taster Day includes access to any eligible group exercise classes running that day, subject to availability.
Our studio runs 80+ classes a week, including Les Mills favourites alongside strength, cycling and wellbeing sessions, with something suited to every fitness level.

How the £15 offer works
1. Book your Taster Day
Complete the form above by 31st October and choose your visit. Your visit can take place after this date, subject to availability.
2. Pay £15 for your day
This is our standard Horizon Guildford day-pass price and gives you access to the facilities included in the Taster Day.
3. Come and experience Horizon
Explore the gym, classes, pool and spa facilities at your own pace.
4. Love it? Join now
Join an eligible membership on the day of your Taster Day and we’ll take £15 off your first membership payment.
5. Decide it’s not for you?
That’s absolutely fine. There’s no obligation to join. Your £15 remains the cost of your Taster Day and is not refunded if you choose not to take out a membership.
Offer must be requested by 31st October 2026. Your Taster Day can take place after this date, subject to availability and confirmation. Join on an eligible membership on the day of your Taster Day and £15 will be deducted from your first membership payment. The £15 Taster Day fee is non-refundable. Everything you need for the day
We’ve got the practical things covered too.
You’ll have access to changing facilities, showers, toilets and lockers. Just remember to bring your own padlock for your locker.
There’s also a get-ready station with hairdryers and straighteners, so you can shower, get changed and carry on with the rest of your day.
And if you’re driving, parking is free on site. Simply remember to register your vehicle number plate when you arrive.
