Horizon comes together for Macmillan Coffee Morning

Written by Abigael Wilson

Our Horizon community came together over coffee and cake at Horizon Waterlooville to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Cancer affects so many people and families in our communities. People come through our doors every day for all sorts of reasons, including those living with health conditions or going through their own health battles, so supporting causes like Macmillan Cancer Support means a lot to us.

This week, we held our Macmillan Coffee Morning, turning our Waterlooville café into a fundraising spot filled with homemade cakes, donation pots and plenty of people stopping by to show their support.

A huge thank you to Ashley Bowden, our Front of House & Catering Manager, for organising the morning, and to Michelle from our Café team for baking such a brilliant selection of cakes for everyone to enjoy.

We were also delighted to welcome the Mayor of Havant, Paul Tansom, who joined us on the day to support the event and help us raise awareness for the cause.

Supporting Macmillan Cancer Support

Macmillan Cancer Support provides vital support to people living with cancer and their families, from practical and emotional support to help with the wider impact a cancer diagnosis can have.

We’re proud to support their work and incredibly grateful to everyone who has donated so far.
