Temporary Parking Changes at Waterlooville

Written by Abigael Wilson

As part of our Waterlooville gym refurbishment, we’ll have some temporary parking changes in place from 6th to 28th August.

Here’s what to expect if you’re visiting us during this time.

Selected parking bays will be unavailable, to make room for the work taking place. There’ll still be parking available, just fewer bays than usual, so it’s worth allowing a little extra time to find a space. Please see the map below.

A temporary two-way traffic system will operate within part of the car park. Please take extra care and follow the signage as you come in and out.

A designated truck access route needs to stay clear at all times, since this is how our new gym equipment is being delivered and installed. We’d really appreciate everyone’s help keeping this route free throughout the works.

Which Bays Are Affected

Where the red box is shown in the photo, these areas will be barricaded with no access. The rest of the car park is available to use as normal.

Please follow all temporary signage and any instructions from our team while you’re on site, they’re there to help keep things moving safely for everyone.

The rest of the leisure centre, everything except the gym itself, stays open as normal throughout. Swim, classes, and the wider centre carry on exactly as usual, we’d just recommend building in a little extra time when you arrive, in case parking takes slightly longer than usual to sort.

Thank you for bearing with us while we finish this transformation, it’ll be worth it.
