Community Discount Memberships Are Becoming More Flexible

Good news! From 1 July, our Community Discount Memberships will move to a Flexible Membership.
This means you’ll still receive all the great benefits included in your membership, but with more freedom and flexibility. Here’s everything you need to know.
What is a Community Discount Membership?
Our Community Discount Membership helps make health and wellbeing more accessible for people in our local community.
Eligible members can enjoy discounted access to our facilities, helping more people stay active, healthy and connected. Depending on your membership type, this can include:
- Gym access
- Swimming
- Fitness classes
What is changing?
From 1 July, Community Discount Memberships will move from a fixed-term agreement to a Flexible Membership.
At the moment, some Community Discount memberships may be tied into a 6-month commitment. From 1 July, this will no longer be the case. Instead, your membership will continue on a month-to-month basis.
Please note: To continue receiving your Community Discount benefit card, you’ll still need to provide proof of eligibility each year. This helps us ensure the discount is available to those who qualify.
What does a Flexible Membership mean?
A Flexible Membership gives you more freedom.
You’ll still enjoy the same facilities and benefits included in your membership, but you won’t be tied into a long-term contract. This means no 6-month commitment and more flexibility if your circumstances change. Simply put, your membership becomes easier to manage and works around your lifestyle.

We know that life changes. Work patterns change. Family commitments change. Routines change.
We want our memberships to be as flexible and accessible as possible, giving you more choice and making it easier to stay active in a way that works for you.
