Horizon Leisure Launches New Community Card – Now With 40% Off Memberships!

At Horizon Leisure, we’re always looking for ways to make health and wellness more accessible for everyone in our community. That’s why we’re excited to announce the launch of our new and improved Community Card – formerly known as the Community Discount Card.

What’s New?

The Community Discount Card originally offered eligible users 40% off a range of pay-as-you-go activities. This included savings on swimming sessions, gym visits, sports hall bookings, crèche use, and more. That benefit still exists and will remain available to those who wish to continue using the card in this way.

The key change is that we are now extending the 40% discount to Horizon Leisure memberships. This means you can now enjoy the full benefits of a Horizon membership at a significantly reduced price, including unlimited access to the gym, fitness classes, swimming facilities, and more.

Who is Eligible

Our eligibility criteria remains the same as our pay-as-you-go card. You may qualify if you receive:

• Income Support
• Employment Support Allowance
• Universal Credit
• Pension Credit
• Job Seekers Allowance
• Housing benefit
• Council Tax Benefit
• Disability Allowance
• Carers Allowance
• Residence Permit card with RT number
• eVisa

40% Off Membership Pricing Examples

The 40% discount is applied to our standard membership pricing. Here’s how the discounted rates break down:

• Standard individual membership: £38 reduced to £23
• Family of 3 membership: £75 reduced to £45
• Family of 4 membership: £85 reduced to £51
• Family of 5 membership: £95 reduced to £57

These discounted rates provide excellent value for families and individuals looking to make the most of everything Horizon Leisure has to offer.

Transitioning to the New Community Card

If you currently have a Community Discount Card, you do not need to reapply to continue receiving pay-as-you-go discounts. However, if you would like to take advantage of the new 40% membership offer, you can speak with a team member at reception or sign up online. Remember, access to our facilities will only be granted once your eligibility documents have been submitted and approved.
