Here at Horizon we are always striving to provide the best facilities and activities that are accessible to all the community to help make life better. That is why we are delighted to announce we are investing in some major refurbishment works at Waterlooville Leisure Centre this month. The work, which will begin on the 14th May 2018, will include a total refurbishment of the male and female dry-side changing rooms and public toilets as well as the main pool spectator area where there will be new seating, flooring and safety railings.
Howard Broad, Chief Executive of Horizon said “the refurbishment works will significantly improve the standard of facilities and provide for a much improved customer and staff experience. Since the Centre was successfully extended in 2015 it has always been our plan to undertake these further improvements which will continue to help ‘making lives better’ for our customers and the community”.
The work is expected to take around 17 weeks to complete. During this time there may be some disruptions, however, signage will be in place to inform and direct you of any changes. Our friendly staff will also be up-to-date on any need to know information so please speak to them if you have any queries.
We will keep you updated throughout the duration of the refurbishment so that you know exactly what is happening and how the works are progressing so keep checking the website and social media for updates.
While the work is taking place the pool, gym, play centre and all other facilities will remain open for people to use and we will do our best keep any disruption to a minimum. So please continue to visit the centre and make the most of everything Horizon has to offer.
We would like to thank you in advance your patience whilst the refurbishments are underway, however we hope you are as excited as we are to see the finished product.
